LANSING – Michigan’s University Research Corridor presidents and URC Executive Director will lay out their goals for 2010 during an informal conversation with the media Feb. 5 at the new URC headquarters.
“It’s a new year and a new decade and we want to have an informal, on-the-record conversation with reporters and opinion leaders to talk about where we go from here,’’ said URC Executive Director Jeff Mason, who joined the URC in mid-2009 after a long career in economic development, most recently as senior vice president of the Michigan Economic Development Corp.
They will also release an annual report reviewing accomplishments of the past year. The URC was founded by the presidents of Michigan State University, the University of Michigan and Wayne State University to leverage the power of Michigan’s research universities to transform the state’s economy.
Tours of the new headquarters will also be available.
