The Focus: HOPE Urban Leadership and Learning Collaborative is a partnership between the three URC schools (Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State University) as well as Focus: Hope. Its mission is to mesh local knowledge and university resources to create innovative solutions to community challenges.
Neighborhood stakeholders host university research and service projects, ensuring that local knowledge is honored and expanded, to solve neighborhood problems and create equity and opportunity. Programs include work in Early Leaning, Job Training, Food For seniors and Community Engagement.
