Michigan’s University Research Corridor this month kicked off its “Blue Economy Tour” to discuss the findings of its 2014 “Innovating for the Blue Economy” report and ways to promote more water-related jobs and research in Michigan. Each tour stop will involve URC researchers and leaders from state and local government, educational institutions and economic development groups. Stops on the tour include Macomb County’s Harrison Township, Houghton, Muskegon, Traverse City and Bay City/Saginaw.
